Richard F. (“Gordy”) Bunch III Is An Entrepreneur Who Founded TWFG In 2001. Mr. Bunch Has Served As Chairman, President And Chief Executive Officer Of TWFG Since Its Inception. Mr. Bunch Has Over 28 Years Of Industry Experience. Prior To Founding TWFG, Mr. Bunch Worked In The Insurance Industry As A Manager, Financial Services At Prudential, Associate General Agent At American National And Agent At Texas Farm Bureau. Mr. Bunch Holds Multiple Professional Licenses, Including L&H, Property & Casualty, Managing General Agent, Surplus Lines Agent And Lloyds Cover Holder. Mr. Bunch Previously Held FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63 And 65 Licenses. Mr. Bunch Also Served In The United States Coast Guard As Petty Officer 3rd Class With A Focus On Logistics, Accounting, U.S. General Services Administration Contracting And Law Enforcement. During His Time In Service, Mr. Bunch Embarked On Several Deployments, Including The Hurricane Andrew Emergency Response Team, Human Trafficking & Drug Interdiction, And Search & Rescue. He Currently Serves As The Capital Campaign Chair For The Future National Coast Guard Museum. Mr. Bunch Also Served On The Woodlands Township Board Of Directors From 2012 To 2022, Including As The Elected Chairman From 2016 To 2022. Mr. Bunch Was Named The 2015 Ernst & Young Products & Services Entrepreneur Of The Year For The Gulf Coast Region.

Gene Padgett was appointed Chief Accounting Officer in January 2025. Before joining the Company, he served as Chief Accounting Officer and Controller for U.S. Silica and held a similar role at Valmont Industries. Previously, he was Chief Accounting Officer at DXP Enterprises for four years. He also spent a decade at Spectra Energy, holding leadership roles such as General Manager of U.S. and Canadian Tax, Director of U.S. Operations Accounting, and General Manager of Corporate Accounting. Before that, he spent seven years at Duke Energy in various roles. Gene began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Prairie View A&M University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Before his accounting career, Gene served in the U.S. Navy.

Andy McGuire brings over 30 years of extensive leadership in the insurance industry to his role as Chief Underwriting Officer at TWFG. Most recently, he served as Co-CEO at PEAK6 InsurTech, where he led the creation of innovative, tech-driven insurance solutions and built scalable operations. Previously, as Executive Vice President at National General Insurance, he advanced growth in personal lines, excelling in underwriting, pricing, product development, sales, claims, and IT integration. His career also includes senior roles at Fireman’s Fund, Zurich Insurance, Allstate, and Safeco, focusing on reinsurance, operational efficiency, and building strong organizations across personal, small business, and commercial sectors. With this proven expertise in strategic underwriting and innovation, Andy is poised to drive TWFG’s MGA expansion and enhance long-term success.

TWFG welcomes Mohan Vijayagopal as Chief Technology Officer. With over 20 years of technology leadership experience, he will play a pivotal role in driving TWFG's digital strategies. Vijayagopal brings substantial experience in enterprise transformation, cloud architecture, core platform modernization, AI strategy, and technology delivery.
